Tumbling small pewter spoons

Postby Spoons » 21 Sep 2010, 03:11

I have a 100 small pewter spoons (sugar spoon size) I need to polish from a casted state...

I wondered whether a tumbler would make easier work of this and whether it would be ok to put a batch in at once?

I've just put in a few searches and from what I've read you'd be best with a tumbler- I'm not sure how many you could do at once although if you bought one I'm sure the instructions would tell you the recommended amounts etc.

I have heard of people doing this before. I dont know exactly how many that you could do at one time, but you could just try and see how many fit and then do a couple of different batches. What are you going to use these pewter spoons for anyway?
