For example, I used to buy my cardstock from the local craft shop, but when I was doing a friends wedding stationery I ordered a bigger quantity online to save money. The company were excellent - the order was placed at 4pm, and arrived at 9.30 the next morning.. and the price was very low, but the card was a 300gsm card with a really superfine finish... so it's a product I rate, and the service and price was great too. (Ideal Envelopes of Sheffield by the way if anyone needs envelopes or card and paper!)
As It's kind of a generic supply it's not difficult to find, but there are a lot of suppliers..
