Something to put your bits on

The wood is actually hawthorn but in miniature it comes out looking like a girt lump of yew. It 1/12th scale and is 18" dia. (1.5" real time) and 2' tall.

You could make a fortune selling these alone if you market them in the right places Pete- Karen might be able to advise you on that with her being into this kind of thing! Beautiful, absolutley beautiful!

Yes, nickie is right. Unlike other magazines, dolls house magazines allow editorials on new businesses making miniatures as long as an advert is taken out to coincide with it, but I do know that the editorials do draw a lot of attention. There are also dolls house fairs regularly the length and breadth of the country.
Ebay is also a good place to sell dolls house miniatures - I used to have an ebay shop myself (possibly best to use auctions or buy it nows in the current climate as opposed to a shop). You could set up a website and use ebay to lead customers to your website.
Also - a good idea is to join cdhm - an ebay group which I think now has moved away from ebay - a miniature artisan group who use the initials in all their ebay listings so that other cdhm members know who the listings belong to - members listings are also showcased for more exposure within the group.
Could go on forever about all the ways to market your miniatures - the above is just a starting point. If I can be of any help with this, do shout, will be glad to help out.
