Hi all, hope your all busy

I was after some ideas on packaging, I currently used cello bags tied with ribbon and my name tag at the top.

I would prefer to make boxes, any ideas on how to do this cost effecteviely or any ideas of suppliers please in the uk.

What exactly will the packaging be for Karen? I have tiny container candles here and the container obviously serves as the packaging but I assume you're talking about pillar candles and tea lights etc???

I am looking for ideas as to weither to package pillar candles seperately in individual boxes? Could I make these or should I just leave them as they are and put rafia around them with my tag?

I just would like them to look more professional.

Yes, I wouldn't know where to start with boxes so Bex is defo your best bet when it comes to that. I know most of the pillar candles I've seen just have a small band of paper around them tied with raffia as you said above with some kind of tag. I think that's perfectly adequate and you also get to see the candle too. Boxes are great but can, as you know, hide the candle unless the boxes are transparent.

I've remelted the wax today from a large container candle a I made a few weeks ago which didn't burn properly and put it into smaller containers. I have one burning as I type...will let you know the results later on but it's looking promising!

Did you use a specific cntainer wax only i was told that I had to as normal beaded wax shrinks away from the glass, I made some chunk pyramid candles and these look really cool. And people seem to like these better, as they are unusual.
