Yes, my son orders his rubber bands from America I think as they're much cheaper and also sells them as well as T-shirts to his fans. Every now and then he'll change colours and have the T-shirts done in the co-ordinating colour as a latest kit kind of thing. It's orange now- was red before that and blue before that etc. It keeps everyone buying them as they want the latest gear etc and he's come to some great arrangements with suppliers over costs too.

Nickie, did I read somewhere that he markets his own clothing brand?? - does that mean he has his own designs manufactured too?

Yes, he markets his own brand which is Apex Parkour- have a look at his website http://www.apexparkour.co.uk. When you say his own designs, he doesn't actually have the clothing itself designed, the designs are either screen printed or embroidered onto existing ranges and then sold with his labels in etc so the actual clothing is not designed by him or anyone associated with him. It's sportswear so there isn't really a lot he can do with it lol! I did the last T-shirt design for them- I'll post it here when I finally get my PC back lol!

Ahhh I spent the first week of 2010 holed up in my friends apartment, making friendship bracelets because we were so bored and just trying to pass the time avoiding going outside! I always tried to make them when I was younger but could never be patience enough!

I did the whole embroidery thread/knotted ones a few years back, but never did get into the scoubidous!

One of these you mean?

I've sold a few of these lately so perhaps they are catching on

I'm totally lost now lol! What is it used for Pete? It seems I have to ask that about nearly everything you make Pete- you make such weird and wonderful useful stuff lol!

The 'weird and wonderful stuff; is usually 'cos I have been asked to and I end up researching them. . The disc is a Japanese plaiting device. There are 32 slots around the rim and a hole in the middle. If you have different colour yarns in the slots all going down the middle you can then plait them in different ways to get different patterned braids. Apparently it isn't particularly difficult.
Have a look here for examples

I don't mind the research as I keep finding new ideas. About 5 different types of drop spindles, couronnes sticks, etc etc. Amazing what's out there and as people get more into crafting they seem to go back to the old ways of doing things which is good for people like me. Hardest part for me is the marketing. I find that really difficult and am having to really push myself on that
