Spent the day finishing off a few pieces that I haven't had time to get at.

A little sycamore egg in plain wood on a matt black pedestal for this one


And a golden egg in this one


This sycamore vase has been waiting for me to finish the foot for months, finally got it done. It's 7" tall and 4 1/2" dia. about 4mm thick.


Also found some dry wood...not something I have very ioften. Only in small pieces so had a play doing some boxes.

3" tall, hawthorn with mahogany lid


2" tall and wide, mahogany with a sycamore inlay in the lid


3" tall, sycamore with an ebonised lid and sycamore knob

They look real nice Pete. Look well in anyones home. Do you have a sort of showroom at home for touristy folk, or, I should ask, do you get many touristy folk in your area. I know your county is big on tourists.

Oh I just love those Pete and they're defo something my fella would be very attracted to if we seen them when we were out somewhere!
