LOl, no, I hadn't given it any thought either...but it's got me thinking about some others too...Why is Facebook called Facebook? I think it's the 'book' thing that gets me- what has a book got to do with social networking lol?

just a guess off the top of my head.. Amarrican schools and colleges have photo yearbooks so you can look up all your dear and not so dear class and schoolmates ad nauseam.. perhaps face book arose from that.. just "faces" rather than by college or class group?

Arh yes, you could defo have a point there Gord! There's also a popular social networking site called yearbook so I guess that's a bit of a give away lol! I'd never thought about it in that way...good old Gord, a fountain of knowledge lol!
