So does Shane

I stand by that statement as well, however having a bit of brown showing at each side and a big colourful wrapper in the centre just makes it look more presentable and traditional - that's a good thing by the way :)

but I would never go with 90% brown wrapping and a little stcker in the middle.

PS just remembered that your products are displayed in a brown box, so hope you didn't take offence to that comment :( each person likes different things and your salles back up what a lot of people like - though thier buying your gorgous, lovely looking soap (was that enough groveling?) not just because the wrapping looks good, - giving up as I feel like I'm digging a big whole for myself here.

think you will find those wrapper bands have a special name (probably not wrapper bands, but worth a search)..

Pure thoughts/leanne the people who made that soap in the photo!

Re glue guns.. they are fiddly and a bit messy (the glue sticks melt on the hot nozzle, so if you are not constantly using them they melt and drip!) - though invaluable for some kinds of crafting..

I would look at tape runners as a means of applying a quick and durable adhesive like these ones:
http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.aspx/app.detail/params.item.588684.tpl.uk/walk.yah.UKCO~U371?source=aw though you can buy others.. I prefer the bostik hightack pattern coated ones as you get 12 metres of tape per runner.

(cant link to the product on their website as they have a faulty link!)

Glad you posted that Gord as I was going to order a glue gun today. I found heated glue pots the other day- can't remember where though but you just put glue pellets into it and it solidifies when it goes cold and can be heated up again and again so there's no wastage or dripping so it's something else to consider. There's also spray contact glue which might come in useful too!
