Suggestion

Postby Tam » 24 Dec 2009, 08:45

Hi, I'm really getting into this suggestion lark.

How about having the title of the last post appearing beside the posters name in the 'Last Post' section. After Xmas of course 8-) , don't want anyone wasting time messing with the forum over the next few days.
regards

It's in the first box already?? it lists the title and the part of the forum it is on?? or am I missing your point?? Be gentle, I'm feeling poorly today!

Sorry, already started on the Xmas cheer.

What I really meant was is it possible to have the last post showing on the forum index page. That way when you look at the different sections you can pop into the one you want. Instead of going into each section to see what is going on, so to speak. If this makes sense.

Me too.. although I still have problems with it taking me to "first unread" as ittakes me to the general forum list 75% of the time.. which is a pain

I think you can do this through your own settings, so that the last post shows first, rather than first post shows first. Is that what you mean?

Or if you didnt mean that but you mean the whole lot of latest posts, as above, just click on New Posts, for all the latest posts and the section should apepar at the side, along with the last poster. Well it does in vbulletin and I guess they're all much the same. It's just a case of turning settings on and off in Admin, if it is an available feature.
