thats not as stupid as i first thought dee. it sounds like some dog hair is got by cruel methods so at least if you use your own hair you know no poor doggy has been hurt to get it. have you got thick or fine hair as i think thick hair would knit better.

Thick hair is better, from my experience with the dogs. If it's too fine, then it doesn't blend as much - thicker would make a stronger atricle at the end.

I would suggest starting with some kind of bracelet or necklace - then you can see how robust it is. You would look a bit silly if you went out in a sweater and it fell apart while you were out lol!
