I have a friend who is allergic to meat but she prefers to tell peole she is vegetarian for ethical reasons...it takes less explaining and people seem to accept it... I can't think how awful it would be if someone played this kind of 'joke' on her - she could die from it - not a pleasant ending to an evening meal with 'friends'...what a funny sense of humour you have Daisysmum :(

Ohhh! I see....I thought, when you said you were joking that it was a joke you played on someone...but you meant that you didn't really do it - it was just something you made up...I get it now...:)
