They are really nice, though suspect (after a little research) that site isn't making them themselves, just buying them in, plus can't find a business address either so not very professional, however leaving all that behond I do love them :)

I hadn't really looked that deeply into the site Shane but yes, not very professional if there's no address! I can't wait to have a go at these, found some recipes so just got to order and wait for the stuff to arrive now. I'm wondering how they've gotten them so neat so I'm going to have a lay with making a loaf type thing and some pastry cutters as well as moulds and layering colours etc.

Its not so hard actually, a few attempts and you can get them neat looking like that. Great fun too with all the designs you can make.

All I can think (and hope) is that the site is a "work in progress" It does look good but who would buy from a site with missing pages and no contact details?

Might make them an offer for the site, do you think they'll except a tenner? :)

(edited to add)

Well site registered in Nov 2008 - so not a new site, and registered by a UK individual, whois information hidden - so against Nominets T&C so looking worse everytime I look into it.

PS, why can't I ever just look at a site like a regular customer anymore, always need to know the ins and outs of everything :)

That's a good thing, not a bad thing Shane although it might be a bit time consuming. I think when you're in the business yourself you tend to look beyond the surface layer and is you see something good or attractive or whatever, it makes you want to investigate. They're your competition and you'd be daft not to check up on them and their credentials....and yes, you're right, it's actually the law that a site which takes money online has to display the website's owners details on the WHOIS database!

I gather from something Judi said that bomb cosmetics may be started by ex employees of Lush? perhaps when they registered they kept their identities quiet to avoid trouble from ex employers?, and now the site is up and running have not attended to the changes necessary..

Really? I'd never even heard of them until I came across that site although I'd obviously heard of Lush! I have to say though that since becoming interested in making soap and soap products I've been attracted to those sort of shops like a magpie to silver. I was in Lush in Liverpool on Friday and I've got to say that I was not impressed at all! The shop looked dark and dirty with just odd bits of soap strewn all over the place and even some of that was dirty! I've not used their products for a long time now and I'm sure they're as lovely as everyone claims they are but there's no way I'd buy anything from there with a shop in that state- it looked like a jumble sale gone wrong lol!

The Bomb site is defo more my cup tea- looks clean and luxurious although the no contact details would defo put me off buying! I always check for this if I'm buying from an online shop now days- I've been stung once too often in the past!
