Seriously, no one gives a carp about nominets terms and conditions - people go anonymous because of the people with nothing better to do that go around trying to dig the dirt on them through every avenue they can.
Seriously, pouring all of those energies into your business will serve you much better.

I know exactly what you mean, picked up some bad habbits on that forum :( And to be honest if I went shopping online I would NEVER look at the whois and even if I did and the info was hidden then it wouldn't bother me so don't worry I'm not turning into mr rightous lol.

And yes definatly need to stop looking at other sites and spend more time trying to promote my own site.

Hi Guys! Famous lol. Does this mean I get an invite to Celebrity Big Brother?? I post on a few forums to do with Cosmetics - Fresholi is one on them that I tend to go on to try to help out with soapers keep things lega, and answer any questions about raw materials. They have quite a few knowledgeable people on there so I'm not sure if I'm needed or not, but it makes me feel good if I can answer something! The web site thing is a part time geeky deal for me - I get a chance to do a bit of graphic design but day to day I do the formulating and regulatory side of things. Much less exciting!

The only other forum I post on to do with business is Little Lost Lushies - there seemed to be a lot of animosity from Lush forumites and I posted on there trying to clear up some misconceptions about one of the founders of the company that was unfortunately killed about 10 years ago. There were some nice people on there so I've sort of hung around ever since.

Other than that I'm afraid my forum days are spent talking about motorbikes! A guy's gotta have sort of vice in life I guess!

Yes, do stick around, that would be so cool, and we will most certainly enter you for celebrity big brother next year.

(Nickie - quickly - make a motorbike section on the forum ;) ).

I found this forum from our web server logs - it tells me where people have linked from to come to our site. I like a bit of feedback from "real" people as we only sell to shops so don't have much contact with end users.

Lush are very protective over what they consider "their" market and they have a very loyal customer base built up around the community formed by the forum. We seem to take the brunt of the arguments on there although I must say the tide seems to be turning now Lush have increased their prices so much more people have tried our products and liked them.

Which company are you from then? I'm confused...is the other forum for loyal Lush customers or for those looking for alternatives?

Sorry, I'm from Bomb Cosmetics. I'm the Technical Director there (Richard) and one of the owners along with three other friends.

The other forum is one that popped up when Lush closed the original official Lush forum, hence the "Little Lost Lushies" name. It is still very much a pro Lush forum although some of the love seems to have been lost a bit. I post on there from time to time along with a couple of other forums about cosmetics (and motorbikes ahem!).

They are custom made for us from a small packaging company in Yeovil, Somerset.
