New Theme

Postby HuggyBear » 22 Nov 2009, 03:12

OK, you will all have logged in to the forum on our new theme (currently a work-in-progress).

Functions of the forum are still the same, however, a new gratitude feature has been enabled which means that you can thank users for useful posts that they have made.

To thank a user click the 'Thanks' text link in the bottom right corner of the user's post.

If you come across any problems using the new theme then don't hesitate to PM me with your problems and I will sort it out

Many Thanks

Shaun

To give "Thank" there is a link in the bottom right corner of my post that says "Thanks".

Think I need to work on button sizes and layout.

I am liking it so far - although it seems very pale...but maybe my monitor settings :)

Your avatar isn't showing up Huggy - just a square with a red cross in it - or is it supposed to be like that..lol!

Perhaps not just you, its rather wishywashy on mine too?? - or is that a considered design feature to be "pale and interesting" :D

I like the new "details on the left" layout too I have to say but Im right handed.. and thats maybe why.. sorry if you lefties like it the other way!
Q:"did you enjoy yourself?"
A:"I had to, there wasn't anyone else here to enjoy..."

Hmmmm, not sure why it's appearing wishy washy lol! It is a paler colour scheme than the blue but it should stand out enough to be seen- it does for me! We are limited to the choice of skins and this seemed the best and most clear one we could find. I'm waiting for them to release the PSD files so I can do my own theme but just how long it will take them is a whole other story...I will endeavour to have it sorted out as soon as they do though!

What about something that is a bit more bolder? That uses mainly primary colours?

There are lots of websites out there that offer skins for phpbb for free ... just google it...

Pastel colours are good, I think what people are saying is that this is only a 'hint of colour type theme.'

What about this one then? It's still purple but a lot darker and bolder than the theme we have now!
