I use really large clamps, one at each side and one either side on the backs, otherwise agree they would take off.

Your stalls look amazing. I've never sold a single item. I don't think most people know what I do. I send my cards through to charity shops, I have never dared actually give one to anyone because I think everyone I know wouldn't get the homemade thing. Ther'd probably think I was being cheap!

I needed a Kenwood Chef cover for a pressie last year.. ended up buying a plain white nylon one from Kenwood.. that cucpcake material would have been excellent! :(

Then you have the wrong friends! ;) I think in this day and age most folk love getting a card made by hand, it is very personal.

I make sparkycards becasue it amuses and entertains me - sod what anyone else thinks.. I invest my time and effort in designing and making them.. If they would rather have one from a box of "50 for £7.99" they can do without, I don't mind saving on stamps!

And dont do yourself down, I sent a friend a card for her birthday, and she asked me to do her wedding sationery! (NO! it wasnt sparkydog themed!) I got a lot of people at the wedding ask me about the cards, and say how nice they thought the design was..

can't agree more ...have faith in your designs Angel

not everybody has a talent to make things and the cards that sell well in shops are always ones that have a homemade touch to them , so people do want something unique and extra special

and stop saying home made! LOL it's "hand crafted"!!

Remember, folks spend years resenting home made school sweaters.. and as soon as they earn decent money, go lash it all out on hand crafted knitwear!! ;)
