This has been around for a few years. I used to go to a glass fusing class and someone there had one and said it ruined her microwave. It might have been her microwave but I think I've heard that feedback before too. That said, compared to the cost of buying a kiln (I think they start at about £400), you could get a cheap microwave from Argos for a tenner and still be onto a winner!
