Hi Nickie

wrong explanation I think, I whip the wax then they have a more rustic texture, they look a bit frosted.

You dont get sink holes with this type, I onlyh did a practice though

Oooooooo, I've never hear of those before- doesn't whipping it create bubbles?

Hi

It does have small bubbles but not a lot, this technique was in a candle book I brought, I dont understand yet all about this air thing as you read that there shouldnt be air bubbles or water in the candle then you read that to make Ice candles you pour hot wax over icecubes to create the holes lots of air bubbles there lol.

I did check earlier that my candle had no large sink hole inside that you couldnt see I cut it in half and it was solid, I was quite surprised but thats what experimenting is all about :hurray:

You sound like you get up to lots of different crafts what do you do and where do you sell them?

LOL, it's mostly a hobby Karen but I've had a go at most things over the years! I don't sell my craft as such, more things related to crafts and mostly on ebay for the time being until Shaun and I get around to finishing the website- so much to do and so little time! I'll get there in the end though!

I guess with the candles and the water thing that as soon as it hits the cold the wax should solidify and since water and wax don't mix, I wouldn't worry too much about the whole getting it wet thing! Sounds like you're doing great!

Tried posting more links today on other people's discussion boards but they don't seem to be appearing!!! Is there some kind of limit as to how many links you can post on Facebook in a 24 hour period or something???
