Feedback - what do you like about the forum?

Postby judivenn » 25 Nov 2009, 20:41

I find myself spending more and more time here....and less and less at that other place....

I just wanted to Thank Nickie and her 'minions' (I don't really think they are minions but I love the word and use it whenever I possibly can),,,hehehe

The forum is brilliant...feels like a cosy blanket...

The people here are wonderfully bright and funny and friendly...

so thank you Nickie, Karen, Shaun, Carl.....and all (sorry I don't know all the names...)

and I hope it's a huge success :)

I sooo agree, the child in me doesn't really want it to expand, but the adult side of me knows that it must.

Well done all and of course the members, who regularly bring a smile to my face:)

Thank you. Thats all of us.

Yes - we know what you mean actually, we are a little family here and the thought of losing that is sad, but, at the same time, we will only expand slowly and wht mkes the forum special is the people we have and maybe that will (with cosmic ordering) rub off - maybe only the like minded will stick around with us.

Aw what a lovely thread...I think the fact that we've come this far means I chose the right people to come on board to begin with. Sometimes you don't know people in the conventional sense but instinctively know they're like minded good people. Yes, it'll be sad when there's no longer just us here but think of all the others we'll get to know too. The cream always rises to the top and they'll rise with us so to speak! Thanks Judith, so lovely of you to post what you did!!!

Hey .... I like this place alot. Beats the "other" one hands down, in a funny way I too don't want it to get to big in a funny kinda way but grow it must. It's a very pleasant place with some really cool people.

Thanks Nicki.

When Karen 1st nudged me towards this forum I thought "what can I possibly contribute" I don'y have a clue about half the topics on here. Then building upto my first 15 posts seemed to take forever as I never knew what or If I should post / make comments.

Then after a bit of a banter with Nickie (and her *) - (don't ask) I felt more at ease on here and now seem to be * in a bit better.

I still feel a bit weird sometimes though as all you lovely peeps seem to make your own wonderfull products and thier's me who doesn't really have a creative bone in my body :( but still enjoy reading through the posts and being part of this great forum.

So thanks Nickie, Karen, The Team and all the members for making me feel welcome and creating such a great atmosphere on this forum, I hope it grows from strength to strength while keepin it's intermate feel.

Not everyone! I don't make anything, I just plitter (mess about!) with bits and bobs that take my fancy.. I make stuff for my own enjoyment and amusement.. I would never expect anyone to pay real money for my cards

So don't feel you have to make and sell to be here!
Q:"did you enjoy yourself?"
A:"I had to, there wasn't anyone else here to enjoy..."

No wonder I have my head stuck in my computer 5 full days a week with little contact with real people - as that comment just went straight over my head :(

I think you should add a "Thicko's area" just for me lol
