Hi Mick,

I looked into this a while ago though didn't go through with the research in a big way, Folksy and Etsy are probabably coded from scratch but Misi I think may use a php based CMS (content management system) which has a custom skin, so unless you have a lot of money (thousends) I would look into the CMS option to see if that will do what you want. I did find a perfect one but dammed if I can find it again.

oooh, if you find it please let me know! I put a similar request on a Ecommerce forum a while a go and had so many replies with different options I didn't know where to look first (most of the relies were from people who sold Ecommerce solutions)...I don't want to spend very much (it is for my craftsforcharity website) and all I really want to do is allow crafters to sell their products via the website and in turn raise money for charity.

Many thanks
Mick

From what I remember the software I looked at was around $300 so not cheap, then your looking at another $200 for the custom skin so not cheap.

As well as CMS take a look for auction scripts as that may do what your looking for.
